A corsage made especially for a Wedding guest who was travelling a few hours the day before the event. All flowers and foliage’s were selection to last the journey and still look fresh and beautiful through out the next day. Spray Chrysanthemum known as Kermit, Dried Lavender, Eryngium mixed with dried wheat and foliage. Wire, buttons, pale lavender and hessian ribbons, paper covered wire and a pale pink pin for the finishing details. it used to be very popular for wedding guests to wear buttonholes and corsages to wedding. Lets bring that back! More fresh flowers all round?

Back into flowers…..The first 4am alarm of the year wasn’t fun, and crikey is the studio cold!! But being back working (playing!!!) with flowers is where I should be!! So today I’ve been making up some rustic handtied bouquets with Roses, Anastasia Blooms, Tulips, Thelspie, Crespedia, Veronica and all sorts of lovely foliages. Some lovely bright colour’s to warn off those January Blues!! And Tulips just remind me that Spring is on it’s way!!
What’s your favourite sign that Spring is coming?
